I had packed enough clothes to last me until Monday, but it turned out I would have been fine if I’d only brought enough for Saturday. I headed down to Nashville with a couple of Missourian sports writers to photograph the 2013 SEC men’s basketball tournament at the Bridgestone Arena.
Mizzou powered through it’s second-round game (after a first-round bye) against Texas A&M 62-50, and looked like they would advance to the semi-finals when they were up by double digits against Ole Miss in the quarter finals. But, with 2 minutes left, they let that lead slip, and some interesting late play calls meant they went home 64-62 losers. There were a few thousand Missouri fans that made the roadtrip, and I spent part of the day Friday looking for some fan features before the game.
