ClipFile: A-hiking We Will Go

Hikers set off on the 8-mile trail around Lake Abilene as part of the Mayor’s Hike Around Lake Abilene on Sunday. More than 50 people participated in this event, the first of it’s kind. June 2008.

This was a busy weekend for me, with three different assignments for the paper, but I had a lot of fun and got to practice my craft a little bit. The money I make doing these stringer jobs helps, but it’s a bonus. I am paying my dues, hoping to get called up to the Big Show some day
