Volunteers at the United Way Day of Action come together to spell out the words “LIVE UNITED” the slogan for the campaign, on the west lawn of the Abilene Civic Center. More than 150 people were on hand for the breakfast, health screenings and the living sign. June 2008.

Debbie McClure and Justin Hughes of Abilene Regional Medical Center hand an “Outdoor Kit” to Tanner Bailey, 10, of Abilene. The kits provided by ARMC contained sunscreen and other items for use during the United Way Day of Action. June 2008.

Members of the HSU Physical Therapy team enjoy the live musc provided as entertainment for the United Way Day of Action breakfast. The students and faculty from the PT department were on hand to provide health screenings to the Day of Action volunteers. June 2008
